Association "Timermanis un Vējiņš"

The Association “Timermanis un Vējiņš” was established by two families – Māra and Eigits D. Timermanis from Sidney and Aina (1932–2012) and Jānis (1926–2012) Vējiņš from Melbourne (Australia). The association was active in the period from 2005 to 2012.

Support

The Association “Timermanis un Vējiņš” presented substantial gifts to the University of Latvia:

• In 2007, the books “Latvija likteņa gaitās” (“Latvia in the Course of Fate”) and “Latvia Through the Centuries”
• In 2009, the books by R. Kovtuņenko “Mores kauja” and “Battle at More”; and the book of M. Peniķis “Latvijas Atbrīvošanas kara vēsture” (“The History of the Latvian War of Independence”) and 100 flash memory bracelets for the holders of the scholarship Ceļamaize 2009 (“Bread for the Journey”).
• In 2010, 650 copies of A. Skalbergs’ book “Kapteiņa gars” (“Captain’s Spirit”).
