Tieto Latvia

The patron company, before the merger – Tieto (1994), is one of the leading IT companies in the Baltics specializing in development of various IT systems and providing a full range of services. Support

In the spring of 2008, Tieto Latvia donated EUR 570 for the event Fizmatdienas 2008 ("The Days of PhysMaths 2008").

Tieto Latvia was the supporter of the social scholarship "Ceļamaize 2009" ("Bread for the Journey 2009"). At the end of 2009, the company donated funds for the University of Latvia project "The 194^th Anniversary of Lady Lovelace" celebrated under the auspices of the traditional "Programmers’ Days" of the UL Faculty of Computing. The company also donated EUR 10 670 for the education project "Support to Accommodation of a Computer Class in Krāslava Gymnasium".

In 2010, Tieto Latvia supported the project "Competition of the Bachelor’s and Master’s theses in Computing (Informatics)" in the amount of EUR 2 543.35.

In 2012, Tieto Latvia continued its support to the project "Competition of the Bachelor’s and Master’s theses in Computing (Informatics)" in the amount of EUR 3 560.
