In 2009, Statoil Fuel & Retail Latvia contributed to the University of Latvia events Ēnu dienas ("Shadow Days") and Zinātnes kafejnīca ("Science Cafe") with a grant of EUR 4 300.
In 2010, Statoil Fuel & Retail Latvia with EUR 4 300 supported implementation of two projects in 2011 – Jauno ģeogrāfu skola ("School of Young Geographers"), the aim of which is to raise the issues concerning the theme "Environment. Health. Safety. " – responsibility toward one another, to the society and environment in which we live, as well as the University of Latvia Zinātnes kafejnīca ("Science Cafe") events.
