Kristīne Krūma Memorial Scholarship

Commemorating life and contribution to law of Kristīne Krūma, Vice-Rector of the Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL), former Constitutional Court Judge, graduate and lecturer of the University of Latvia Faculty of Law, her relatives, friends and like-minded people – Ivars Indāns, Mārtiņš Paparinskis and Ieva Miļūna – in cooperation with the University of Latvia Foundation, have established the Kristīne Krūma Memorial Scholarship.

Scholarship is intended for the University of Latvia Faculty of Law study programme “Legal Science” master's students who have shown a particular interest in international and European law.

Number of scholarships: 1.

Scholarship amount: EUR 3 000 per academic year.

Scholarship Commission: Dean of the UL Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Anita Rodiņa (Chairman of the Scholarship commission), sworn attorney Mārtiņš Paparinskis, lecturer of the Riga Graduate School of Law Ieva Miļūna and Executive director of the University of Latvia Foundation Laila Kundziņa.

Within a single academic year, the applicant may receive only one scholarship financed by the patrons of the University of Latvia Foundation.
