Riga Centre Humanitarian Secondary School Debate and Public Speaking Club

The objectives of the project implemented by RCHSS:

• to develop pupils' public speaking skills in English;
• to promote the development of critical thinking, skills and abilities to address front of the public, to argue one's opinion;
• to develop young people into personalities characterised by civic activity.

The tradition of a debate club will be established and regularly improved. Pupils, teachers, parents and graduates will be involved in this initiative. It is planned to establish the Riga Centre Humanitarian Secondary School as a Foreign Language Competence Centre.
